This Family Archive provides valuable information as to where to find material on approximately 100,000 unique surnames. Information on these surnames was collected in surname folders and housed in libraries, historical societies, and other organizations. Compiled over twenty years by Ron Bremer, this "North American Surname Folder Index" references mostly unpublished collections of genealogical information located throughout the United States and Canada.
