Fantastic look at the history of Iowa's country schools, this is
Iowa's Country Schools Landmarks of Learning", Edited by William L. Sherman, published in 1998.

It is a large tabletop book 9" x 11" with a glossy heavy card cover.

It features 256 pages of submitted photos from each county in Iowa, with a brief history of the schools in that county.

Pictures are from the 1800's into the 1940's.

On the back cover & inside are pictures by Pat Buckley Moss depicting country schools.

The front of the book is filled with stories, memories, & facts about many of the country schools.

Incredibly interesting book that is hard to put down.

It's in near perfect condition, just the teensiest corner turndown on the upper right corner of the cover, not even worth a mention.

No writing in this book, no missing pages, stains, or odors. It's just like new.
