Item Description

Second-Chance Vest

-soft core armor series, threat level IIIA body armor

-size: Small (22x13), model 23AWC Male

-protects against .357 magnum (158 grain lead SWC, 1400 FPS) and 9mm (FMJ, 1400 FPS)

-I bought the vest used and there is some slight mildew on the soft armor covers.  The outer cover was originally white, but I dyed it a dark brown for my deployment to Iraq.  I did not use the vest in Iraq, however, because I opted to use a plate-carrier instead.
