Please note, this item is on a CD, it is not the actual book. The books we digitize cost hundreds of dollars, we digitize them and make them available inexpensivly to everyone. Rather than one copy sitting available only to a select few in our local area.

BEFORE leaving a less than 5 star rating especially in the item as described colum, please review our auction listing. We take care to describe our items specifically so that you as a buyer know what to expect.

We ALWAYS reply to your paypal notification, stating when exactly the item will ship. We reply to all emails within 8 hours, during the daytime we reply within 3 hours.

We ALWAYS ship the same day we get payment, often within the same hour. Please do not penalize our rating due to the post office delivery times. It is important to remember that we ship the same day you pay, ALWAYS.

Our shipping fees: To mail within Canada it costs us .96 cents That does not include, time, packaging or GAS.

To ship to the United States it costs us $1.15 for the stamp alone. That does not include our time, packaging or gas.

To ship overseas it costs us $1.96 for the stamp alone, that does not include our time, packaging or gas.

We are charged .35 to list an item plus a final value fee of .89 Paypal charges us .30 for every payment we recieve plus 2.9% of the total which comes to .61 Our CD mailers cost .35, our CD envelopes cost .15, our mailing labels are .03 our CD's are .44.

So for a CD going to the United States the above costs are $3.97 For one going overseas it costs us $4.78

This does not account for our time (both on eBay and digitizing), the cost of the original book, or any other costs. (Thankfully we have volunteers)

As you can see, some of our CD's we *make* less than $1 on (remember this dollar covers the cost of the original book, time to digitize and list, time and gas to take it to the post office etc), some CD's that sell for $9.99 plus shipping we make a WHOPPING $6.00 *profit* in which to cover our costs of purchasing the books and digitizing them.

We offer these books on CD, because we as a group of genealogists were frustrated by the lack of availability of records and wanted to help out and make some rare books and records available to everyone.

eBay has the new star rating system, if we maintain a 4.8 rating in all categories we can get 15% off our final value fees. That may not seem like much (13 cents) but considering how slim our margins are it is important to us.

Please consider carefully before giving us less than 5 stars in all the categories, we communicate when we recieve your payment, we describe these items carefully and accurately, we charge shipping that can only be considered reasonable if not less than what it costs us, we ship the same day often within the same hour that you pay.

If you feel that any of the above is unreasonable, please don't buy from us. If you are a new eBayer and do not understand the implications of leaving a neutral or negative comment, please don't buy from us.
