Bergamot Pure Essential Oil - 1/4oz - Aromatherapy

Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) From peel an uplifting, spicy, sweet scent; like orange and lemons with floral overtones. Inhaled, it relaxes the nervous system and acts as a digestive. Also known as an expectorant, antidepressant and antiseptic. Bergamot imparts that unusual flavor to Earl Grey tea. It was and still is an important ingredient in the classic Eau de Cologne formula. Bergamot is a photosensitizer (increases the skin reaction to sunlight and makes it more likely to burn) and the photosensitizing effect can last for several days.

Blends well with chamomile, lavender and geranium.

Cautions: Do not use on the skin before exposure to sunlight.

Excellent for use in making candles, soap, lotions, bath products and potpourri. Use as part of a blend in a diffuser.
