Your eBay Made Simple
Volume One
Ok, so I was sittin' around one day and I thought, "gee, I sure know a lot about that eBay auction site. Maybe I outta make a tape, or take calls, or somethin'..." Yeah, that was a great day, and I've been living in the past ever since - that's just how good it was.
Honestly though, I have sold a few items on what used to be known as auction web, and I think even Pierre Omidyar himself would have to admit that I've learned a thing or two about how this joint works.
I know I know, you're thinking, "who the hell is this guy, and how am I supposed to believe that he knows squat about selling products on eBay?"
Well, there's no way to know for sure...or is there?
Hmmm, well, you could peruse the ole feedback. I know that's just SOOOOO old hat, but who knows...there just might be some good stuff there. I paid good money for all those great comments, so you may as well enjoy some of them. (just kidding, of course...)
Well, just in case you're curious (I KNOW I am...) what topics are covered on this fabulous DVD, I thought I'd give you a little hint right here.

Payment, Shipping & Handling
Believe me, I'd really love to take any form of payment that exists, I really would. Who doesn't like to get paid? I used to accept checks and Paypal, but there were so many problems - both checks bouncing, as well as impatient folks having to wait for checks to clear before I could ship - and I love to ship right away.
Anyhow, I've had to streamline my payments down to Paypal only. If this is a drag, I'm really sorry about that. I realize there are some folks out there who have a problem with Paypal - to be honest, I do as well.
I once sent a dent puller out to Italy (back when I used to ship internationally...) and it was stolen in customs. The biggest problem with international customs is having to identify what the item is, so thieves know what they're stealing.
Well, bottom line - Paypal protects the Buyer - that's all there is to it. They simply yanked my money back immediately and returned it to the buyer. (Something I would have done myself anyway, but Paypal did it so fast, I blinked my eyes and missed it...) They didn't really support me as the seller in any way, shape or form.
Anyhow, there's a lot of folks selling stuff on eBay. So why the hell should you buy from me instead of them? God, if I had a good answer to that question I might even be able to become "middle classed."
What I can say is this. I'm obsessive about not enjoying the idea of your payment until your item is safely in it's cool box or bubble envelope at the post office ready to go. (oh, how I adore bubble envelopes - I really have a problem...) I know it's crazy (and so am I...), but I don't like to even think about the money until ALL of the work is done.
I guess this could work out well for you in the "getting it fast" department. Oh yeah, I will probably regret the bejesus out of this, but I decided to offer free shipping, that's right "free shipping." I said it - FREE SHIPPING! |
